Meanwhile due to low cost, more and more customers prefer Chinese brand.

Battery dimension 

The dimension is important to confirm battery model (18650 or 21700 or other model), the battery cell distribution and evaluate how to build the pack.

BMS for battery

The important is working current, it decides what current BMS we need to choose.

Charge current determine how fast your battery pack can be recharged, it supports fast charge or not.

BMS dimension sometimes also important, it has to comply to battery pack dimension.

Communication protocol needed? I2C SMBUS RS485 RS232 etc.

Bluetooth module needed? it supports you monitor the battery pack through mobile APP.

Case

Sometimes the battery pack will need to be put into a case (hard case, plastic case or steel case), case inner size should be a little bigger than battery size, case outter size should be smaller than vehicles battery slot.
